Parallel Power: With Grid Support enabled, battery power is converted to AC Power supplementing the grid input to help avoid peak utility charges – Load Shaving. Priority Power: The consumption of solar power or battery power is prioritized before purchasing power from the utility.

Solar with Battery Back Up

 Conext XW+ integrates into the electrical system and seamlessly converts power from battery reserves to power critical loads such as pumps, security systems, refrigerators and electronics, when utility power is unavailable. Three ConextTM XW+ units are used to provide three-phase power. For extended power outage situations, ConextTMXW+ integrates with a generator to power critical loads while replenishing battery reserves.

Residential PV System Configurations


Whole House Back Up

Typical entire home backed up with a generator, solar and batteries. These systems can be expanded upon using multiple charge controls, inverters and battery banks depending upon each sites specific requirements. 

These systems can be net metered or non net metering programmed. 


Self Consumption System

No Net Metering NO PROBLEM!! Offset your daily use when the sun is shinning with a smaller battery bank allowing you to have a small critical load panel and using what solar produces when the sun is shining. 

 These systems can be net metered or non net metering programmed.  



Independence through Off -Grid installation. Likely will require batteries, solar, and a generator. In some cases small wind systems can be implemented for night time use and battery charging.

Typical Net Meter Installation


Net Metering systems also called tied to grid or grid tie system, is a semi-autonomous electrical generation or grid energy storage system which links to the mains to feed excess capacity back to the local electrical grid. When insufficient electricity is available, electricity drawn from the grid can make up the shortfall. Conversely when excess electricity is available, it is sent to the grid.
